In other news, I finally managed to replace the hideous modern IKEA lamp in my lab that was left by the previous tenants with something more period correct (a ceiling lamp that I’ve owned since some time in the early nineties). It’s showing some signs of wear from long term use in previous apartments I lived in (plus some yellowing that I didn’t bother to remove) and I love it. Lamp nostalgia. 😅

ran into a bunch of issues compiling grub2 on MinGW, so here's an infodump:

Unsupported TCHAR size - just typedef TCHAR as char, and SIZEOF_TCHAR as 1.

next, error: conflicting types for ‘grub_util_file_sync’; have ‘void(FILE *)’

for some reason it's declared void in grub-core/osdep/windows/hostdisk.c so change it to:

Ich hab vorhin mal unter https://pgp.governikus.de/ meinen #OpenPGP-Schlüssel "vom Staat™" signieren lassen.

Sie rufen von deinem e-Perso den Namen ab, du lädst deinen Public Key hoch, wählst eine der User-IDs des Keys aus (wenn du mehrere hast), und wenn der Name der UID mit dem Namen auf dem Perso übereinstimmt, bekommst du an die Mailadresse in der UID eine Signatur von 0xA4BF43D7 "Governikus OpenPGP Signaturservice (Neuer Personalausweis)".

Ging schnell und einfach.

'Köln hat jetzt eine Ampel, die den Radfahrerinnen und Radfahrern Vorfahrt schaltet.'

Als diese Ampel der Kölner Fahrradbeauftragte in einer VHS-Veranstaltung vorgestellt hat, kam es bei den Teilnehmer*innen (einschließlich mir) zu einer kurzen Schockstarre ... im positiven Sinne. Denn das hatte niemand erwartet, weil es doch eher nach Niederlande klingt👍🙂
