@grammargirl Search is so screwed up now. We are renovating a bathroom, and I'm trying to pin everything down before I get quotes from contractors. Try searching for "30" vanity." You will get everything from 29" to 36". And it doesn't matter if you use Google or Home Depot. I guess maybe Home Depot hopes I'm going to tear down a wall to accommodate an extra four inches of counter space. Whatever it is, it doesn't bode well for the future of the internet if search is this broken.

I just heard some asininity from someone who should have known better. A friend of mine, an editor not long out of some of D.C.'s biggest and most prestigious political-news outlets, claimed that Fulton County DA Fani Willis had disgraced herself and disqualified her office and that it was a huge story.

Never mind that we had two days' worth of fact-finding and came nowhere near any such conclusion. 1/

@panamared27401 @thepoliticalcat Friday, we learned Defendants were told she was living with Wade by his former law partner, who testified he didn't tell them. But ultimately admitted he paid someone to tell them. Then he stopped answering questions because of attorney-client privilege. Next, the judge ended his testimony, saying he'd meet him in chambers when it came out Terrence Bradley left Wade's firm after being accused of sexual assault. This reads like revenge, but MSM is still on Willis.

I mean, legally I think they'd have to toss the work her department did and start over. The person who would appoint someone who isn't her is a Republican. At least that's what I read last week.

@Brad I believe it. Last Saturday, my kid's robotics team meeting was mask-mandatory because cases were rising in school. Everyone at the table where my kid was sitting was wearing surgical masks. My kid wears N95s. He is the only one without covid this week.
