1. Learned a new word today: ‘avolition’, which describes my life perfectly.
2. Renovated & rejuvenated the lentil soup (turkey sausage sucked). Replaced 🦃 with 🐓thighs and made new broth. I now have enough to last until spring.
3. Beginning to see cracks in MAGA army’s stranglehold. Afraid to hope but hopeful anyway.
   Bonus: Youngest granddaughter met (D-NC) Governor Cooper, who visited her high school today to highlight needed funding for public schools vs private school vouchers. She, of course, was the cutest kid.

1. 23-year-old water heater picked today to die, when I have 10 people arriving tomorrow for dinner…BUT….Ukrainian plumbers installed a new one in record time & local son shepherded the job.
2. There’s a massive pumpkin pie on my table. Huge. Gigantic. A moon.
3. The house is as Christmassy & clean as I can make it. (But my office could be on that hoarder show…it’s where everything is “resting” for now.)
4. Bonus: A kazillion texts, calls, photos from son & family in NC.

1. Avgolemeno soup was spectacular and surprisingly easy, with enough left for dinners until Tuesday.
2. Discovered I can watch the Great British Baking Show mostly on mute and skip the chatter.
3. Bye, bye green couches tomorrow. I’ll be storing a gorgeous new sectional and a 1969 Camaro for my soon-to-be-traveling son. Hoping they don’t get the living room mixed up with the garage. 😉

Well, congratulations, CBS & NBC news - your ageist campaign against Pres. Biden seems to be gaining ground. Polls from each network as posted on YouTube today have Trump “slightly ahead” of Pres. Biden, with “age” noted as the stumbling block.

Hmmm. Let’s see. On this hand, a twice-impeached, convicted rapist with four pending indictments for 91 (alleged) felonies, including acts perpetrated in his last term. And on the other hand, our current president who has tap-danced through near-miracles for the economy, bipartisan legislation for infrastructure, #ClimateCrisis mitigation, pandemic management, enviro wins, human rights protections, and actually WORKS for the American people with zeal and compassion.

Tough choice.

What in the hell must this good man Biden do to prove his worth? He’s accomplished more in 3 years than other presidents have in two full terms — certainly more than Fucko (with his cozy relations with Putin & Kim Jong Un).

Wake the fuck up, America.

1. Happy/sad farewell to the fledgling albatross chick live cam star after watching him since last winter. Endangered species, so sending him off with good thoughts for safe travels.
2. Finished a tedious task of organizing financial stuff and managed to do it without a spreadsheet (a worse evil than cilantro).
3. Fell last night getting into bed; hilarious. Who does that? OK except for lavender, Monet-esque bruises. It made me laugh. 🤣
