@Tarah it requires physical access (have to enter DFU) and is undone by a restart. The mitigation apple added was to make devices kernel panic if they booted directly from DFU while having a passcode (though I think this was bypassed for the iphone 7 and below). I still have an iPhone X, but it is not a threat I worry about.

@ja2 I have had the same problem! Because of a separate issue, I had an entry for firefox and firefox with a specific environment variable, and it would randomly choose which icon to say my session was coming from.

hah. I have dmesg running on my secondary computer because I was doing some USB testing, and I can tell from the messages when I shifted position in my chair.

because the electrical interference causes my mouse to drop and re-add the connection to my KVM, and I see it re-enumerate

Surely a developer could make a instance that automatically pads zeros to follower counts and generates random engagements to help clout-addled journalists manage their transitions to the fedi?

@bkeegan https://glitch-soc.github.io/docs/features/hide-follower-count/ This fork has a setting to spoof follower count to -1, so it seems like it wouldn't be hard to spoof it the other way. Everyone can feel famous!

@msprout i think the 4- part is part of the compound name not a quantity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parafluorofentanyl . But doesn't change how scary that is!
