If you’re interested in running your own server I personally use @mastohost for managing my service, simple to setup and pay them, been using them for months and it’s cheaper than Twitter blue for many individuals, but inexpensively can scale if you become more popular as I have been. This might be a loaded question given my audience. But what are you all considering the ‘best’ general purpose desktop Linux distribution at the moment?
I’d like for a moment, if we can, to drop the tribalism, the evangelism etc. and try to be as objective as possible. Even if it pains you to say X distro has some really nice features that your current favourite doesn’t.
I run Windows, MacOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, Debian, Solaris, and RHEL frequently. I once ran a distro per week for a whole year, so I’ve seen some things. I have no horse in this race.
