Rich Americans serving prison time always helps to bring to the public's attention to how completely rotten the US prison system is. Case in point: convicted crypto bro Sam Bankman-Fried is on the east coast and needs to be taken to the west coast. How? Well, if you're imagining some kind of Con Air transportation, think again: inmates are driven cross-country on a bus, stopping along the way to drop off and pick up prisoners. This kind of drive takes weeks, sometimes even months.

@justafrog I’m at the same time deeply opposed to the atrocities being committed in Gaza, and deeply suspicious of people who vehemently criticize Israel’s action without taking any interest in other atrocities taking place around the world.
