Some people don't see the value of using a password manager and keep sharing their streaming service passwords with their friends and relatives in plain text.

This is an attempt to simplify the process of sending encrypted passwords for non-technical users, using local encryption with temporary keys.

Instances planning to defederate with is why nobody takes the seriously.

Threads is not the first instance being blocked because moderator x doesn't like the owner of that instance.

This could've been a big opportunity to make ActivityPub mainstream, but we keep gatekeeping our bubbles.

, does anyone own a G-Shock DW-H5600 and have opinions about it? I'm currently quite happy with the features my Fossil HR Hybrid smartwatch provides, but I absolutely love the looks of G-Shock squares. I think I'd miss those features if I got a GW-M5610. 🤔

How does the battery hold up? Is the accuracy of the sensors really that bad? Does the exterior case fall off when you smash it too hard? There's not much information out there...

Looking for a theme to build an artist website for a friend. I'm peeking at the premium version of GeneratePress since it's quite flexible and I could use it on many websites in the future, but the price is quite hefty.

Are you aware of themes that are as flexible as GeneratePress but cheaper, or potentially even free?

("flexible wordpress themes" is not a search query I want to trust.)

I wish would sort their keyboard out. The text correction is shockingly bad, especially when swiping to type. It’s to the point where I have to proofread everything I type.

Perfect example - it just corrected “proodread” to “progress” WTF??

I feel like had this solved like many years ago.

@kev back when I had an iPhone (2016ish) the multilingual support on iOS was also really bad. Android nails this by inferring the language on the fly, but on iOS you manually had to switch it. I don't know if they fixed this since, but back then it was one of the many reasons I switched back to android.
