This is ridiculous:

  1. MKBHD is as fair as they come

  2. Honest reviews are a huge favor to any company smart enough to pay attention

  3. If Humane has its act together, it paid someone with reviews experience to evaluate the product and knew what to expect

At age 15, Marques Brownlee began making YouTube tech videos. He just kept going until he became our era's leading gadget critic. And the media empire he created is still taking him to new places. Here's my cover story from the new issue of Fast Company! https://www.fastcompany.com/90978935/marques-brownlee-mkbhd-youtube-tech-review

It's the 73rd anniversary of Charles Schulz's PEANUTS. Here's a hardly-seen article on Schulz's cartooning from more than two years earlier, from the magazine of Art Instruction, Inc, which was founded by my great grandmother's half brother.

I'm very pleased to be editing @glennf's upcoming book on the history of how comics have been reproduced. It's going to be great! Check out Kickstarter to learn more and help it become a reality. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/glennf/how-comics-were-made

I swore off April Fool's pranks long ago. But the Wayback Machine still has PC World's Save DOS campaign, a parody of our sister publication InfoWorld's then-current campaign to save Windows XP. Our version included a spontaneous DOS reboot. https://web.archive.org/web/20080424031435/http://www.pcworld.com/ic/savedos/
