I see there's some sort of "how's Linux now" discourse going around Mastodon and so I'll give my brief summary:

To be blunt, Linux is just the least-shit option to run on your PC nowadays lol.

If you want a good start, try Kubuntu https://kubuntu.org/, I get along great with it. Familiar interface, without all the shovelled shit Microsoft constantly try to force on you. Same KDE Plasma interface Valve use for Steam Deck's Desktop Mode.

@gsuberland I guess some of the perks you get are considered pay to win level. And it adds a PvE mode, which people who purchased a past edition that promised access to all future DLC isn't getting this update.

When everyone got mad the devs said, our bad you can have it for 6 months.

@euphoriagremlin Literally dozens! :) Love that deck! Admittedly I got the Explorers of the Deep precon but have been slowly upgrading it as I go. That cyclonic rift 😮 But that precon was the gateway into merfolk though, I've since built a pioneer deck as well.
