Eh, crap, re-implementing stricter personal COVID-19 measures after just relaxing them, an (entire) family I know with COVID or recovering, after catching it from an older relative who was hospitalized--they later figured out, COVID-19. (ie Once again, moving back to "all indoor interaction in public N95" -- pondering where I'll go with outdoor in crowds.).

Hmm, finding a vegetarian Indian dish to make for dinner from scratch (which doesn't require a lot of ingredients I don't have and time) is an interesting challenge 🤔

Thus, why Indian restaurants and grocery stores here with takeout counters are appealing, LOL.

@ai6yr I make Instant Pot Chana Masala often. Curry Lentils are a close runner up. Prep and cook time is just minutes, but I’m not great at keeping all the ingredients on hand.

One of the local universities advertising "50 and Better" classes including courses/lectures on Frank Sinatra, 1950's swing, and "Over The Rainbow" makes me wonder why they are conflating Gen X folks with the boomers here... ("just over 50" are folks who grew up with U2, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc.) 🤔

From Andrew Pletcher: ICYMI: @CityofTO will host a bike lane demonstration where a portion of Hillcrest Drive (between Wilbur Road and Lynn Road) will be made into a temporary bike lane. The bike demonstration will be from May 13, 2024, through May 31, 2024.

Random tip: don't buy compostable forks and spoons. Go to your thrift store, and purchase a handful of real, metal forks and spoons (usually 50 cents or less for each). Pair those with washable napkins. Use them, wipe them off and wrap them in your napkin, take those all home and wash 'em.

Yes, I have bee-n stuck in too much traffic today. But not without a visitor passing on some greetings. No, traffic was not moving at all (hence the photo, safely taken). The bees know I am a beekeeper, even from outside, LOL.

I bought a new road bike for $11,311.24. It shipped from Ohio and made it as far as San Bernardino county before FedEx lost it. I hope its new owner goes super fast. If they send a postcard, that’d be nice.

    Contractor told me carpet hadn't come in yesterday, but I see from an email they told the insurance company that it had arrived. 🤔

    Wondering if it arrived late and they just didn't bother to tell me yet, or they're lying to the insurance company (who pays them). 🤔
