@MonaApp any news on the notification tab? I still wish to see an update that the last position is saved. Literally the only thing that keeps me away from Mona.
Now that I realize it, I would love to take a break for a few monthsโฆ Just live my life and not solving luxus problems of other people day by day. Just doing my own thing for some time.
Unfortunately, I don't have rich parents, nor have I inherited wealth from anyone else. So that remains a dream...
Reed from Smart Home Solver interviewed @balloob earlier this month about the approaches weโre taking to make Home Assistant easier to use. Here's a recap of why he thinks Home Assistant is the smart home of the future. ๐ช๐ป
@ArneBab Petitionen, die nicht รผber das das Portal der Regierung gemacht werden, sind halt leider nicht viel wert. Also was soll man da erwรคhnen? Das 800.000 Deutsche ihre Zeit verschwendet haben?
#Hamburg , #Berlin , #Kรถln and #Frankfurt ...I want to go to a concert to watch an act who is performing in these places next year because the UK is sold out. German folk and folk who have been to Germany, which places do you think is the best option? Pls help.
@LevelUp In hope to be able to meet you in person: Berlin. :D
It highly depends on the location I guess. Berlin has some really cool locations and some that are just there.
I don't really like Cologne, but can't put a finger on a reason. Frankfurt is a dystopian clusterfuck. Hamburg is awesome, in pretty much every way, but itโs not Berlin :D
@jason I pretty much increase the font size on everything for years. It's just more comfortable and as most websites are responsive these days it doesn't break the web anymore.
@chriscoyier Side effects are too extreme I guess. If you don't teleport stuff around with JavaScript you constantly run into problems with modals and stuff.
@stefanzweifel If it's not locally I don't want it. At least make the Stuff that runs on the server optional.
But as face detection and other stuff in photos also runs on device while you charge your iPhone, it would be unlikely that Apple wants to use servers for this.
Especially when you look at the headlines for Microsoft. What was it? 30% increase in energy consumption because of AI? That's nuts. Definitely nothing Apple wants to have on their side. If the iPhone runs it locally it's distributed between all iPhones.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of a collaboration between Apple and OpenAI. But as long as OpenAI doesn't gets my phones data, I think I'm fine.
