Another option, and that works in mas.to is after you have the list of instances. You have to put them in a CSV file.
Then you go to Preferences>Import and Export > Import
Then you select the "blocking list" as in the picture, and you import the list of instances and accounts to block.

When looking at the recent history of many popular and highly successful online sites, there tends to be a certain trend they’re all following: rampant corporate greed butting heads with its original core mission and its user base, all of which eventually leads to major issues for the site.
Several sites in question — Discord, Twitter, Reddit, and Tumblr — all share that same fate, despite having very different purposes and suffering through a dissimilar series of events that led to their downfall or tipping point. And, they’re proof that most businesses will eventually hit a point in which management will decide to push profit margins and use bizarre and brutal methods to squeeze money out of it. A judge just evicted the company from its Boulder, Colorado office after three months of unpaid rent, totaling over $75,000, as originally reported by TechCrunch. This all started after the landlord took the company to court, according to the Denver Business Journal. The judge sided with the landlord and has given Twitter until the end of July to vacate.
This is a unique scenario, as Twitter didn’t pay traditional rent for the office. Instead, it was provided a letter of credit worth $968,000 back in 2020, using this credit to pay the landlord. However, the line of credit ran out a few months back and Twitter failed to make any additional payments. Reports indicate that the office is still active, with around 150 in-person employees, down from 300 at its peak. The company’s San Francisco landlord is also suing the company for unpaid rent. In related news, Elon Musk has been adamant about ending remote work, but that’s likely to be difficult without, you know, office space.

Meta’s Twitter Alternative Will Probably Be Called ‘Threads’
Meta opted to use the open, decentralized social networking protocol ActivityPub(Opens in a new window) for this project, which is already used by Mastodon. That doesn’t guarantee interoperability between the two competing services, but could certainly make it easier for Mastodon accounts to migrate to Project 92. The reverse is also possible, but it seems unlikely Meta would want to make it easy for accounts to migrate away from its ecosystem.

In a new paper in the journal Nature, a group of researchers led by Dr. Gopal Murali (from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel; currently at the University of Arizona, USA) tried to tackle this problem.
They used species data for most land-vertebrate species (33,548 species of amphibians, birds, mammals, and reptiles) regarding recent exposure to maximum temperatures, to predict the effects of future extreme temperatures by the end of the 21st century.
Species’ current distribution ranges and projections of future climates under different emission scenarios were utilized.
They found that while thousands of species are likely to be exposed to future heatwaves, the number of exposed species is much higher under high-emissions scenarios when compared to a scenario that reduces our dependence on fossil fuels.
Russia fines Wikipedia owner for failing to delete Azov battalion content -Ifax
A Russian court on Tuesday fined the Wikimedia Foundation, which owns Wikipedia, 3 million roubles ($36,854) for refusing to delete an article on Ukraine’s Azov battalion, the Interfax news agency reported.
