@matthiasott I've tried everything under the sun. Nothing beats plain text files formatted in markdown, using my favourite text editor (SublimeText).

Files are tagged and organised into folders. They start their lives in "drafts" and then move into the most relevant folder when I publish or abandon them.

Publishing is just dumping the text into the WordPress editor and cleaning up the formatting. (I like the process of converting markdown manually).

@protonmail Hi, thanks for the feedback. I've already gone with that solution, for now. It works OK as a patch, as long as I don't have a need for full email separation between emails. If you run a personal mail and a couple of side-projects, though, it's not ideal. I'd like fully separated inboxes, and judging from your UserVoice, I'm not the only one either.

Hope you get on to that pretty soon!

@lordmatt @pfefferle Well, let me know if you figure out a lasting fix. I've had to disable the ActivityPub plugin on account of the same issue. Short of disabling all caching — I've not found a reliable way to avoid it.

@pfefferle @lordmatt Thanks Matthias! I've read all the tickets. My problem is that I don't know enough about my caching setup to know where to even begin fixing it. I'm using the default Cloudways setup, which has served me well in every other way.

I realise that's just a copout and a way of saying "I just don't care enough to get it fixed" but the perceived learning curve to getting there is just too steep from where I'm at right now.

@pfefferle @lordmatt That's the problem. Cloudways comes with drop-in cache plugins (Object Cache Pro), pre-installed but optional cache plugin (Breeze) and various VPS-specific caching technologies (Varnish, Redis, I think) and I have no idea where to even begin when "it's a cache problem".

I tried the suggested .htaccess "hack" for enabling Vary (I think that's what it did, was a while back) but it had no effect.

Had to skip exercise yesterday and then also today because of too much work™. And it sucks. ☹️

I you want to make exercising a habit, put it in your calendar (e.g. Wednesday and Saturday morning) and really stick to it. This has worked surprisingly well for us over the last few months.

Every hashtag on every post on every platform should ALWAYS be pascal case (a.k.a. camel case). I made this to illustrate how screenreaders read hashtags depending on whether they are lowercase or pascal case.

It’s a small thing that all of us can do to build a more inclusive, accessible internet for all. Please take the time to use pascal case.
