@protonprivacy Great. Is it possible to set the weekly view to start from today and show only the following days? Or is it really just a calendar week? 🙂
Our cat's going into surgery in an hour and a half. And I'm so worried about him. Yesterday was the most he's played with us all year. And actually spent the whole day as close to us as possible.
I'm scared as f**k.
Please keep your paws crossed that everything turns out well. Thanks
Got my card back, I think; I wanted something abstract and reversible that felt halfway between medieval and carnival, using the same palette as the cards, and this was the winner of a dozen attempts.
EDIT: Eye-strain questions have prompted a "Oh, maybe go chunkier" - post here:
The thought of asking for a Bluesky invite code had never occurred to me... but... anyone got a spare code they're never gonna use?
Disclaimer: There's just a few people on there that I want to follow, but I'm probably just gonna dabble a bit. If you hold any value to the code, don't give it to me because I'm perfectly happy over here and my Bluesky account will likely be heavily neglected.
I do have to wonder why I keep buying new versions of the same game over and over just because I like the art.
On the left "White Box - Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game" in its first edition (version 1.4) which i already had, on the right is version 2. I'm not actually sure what the difference is besides some art.
The game is your run of the mill #dnd white box #osr clone based on Swords & Wizardry. The main point is the price though, this was under 7eur on Amazon. And it's a complete game.
I came across OSE and OSR in general by complete accident. First everyone in my area switched to 5E, so I stopped playing. And then I happened to come across a mention of OSE, looked it up, fell in love with it, bought the collector's version of the rules, and started making a fan translation that eventually came out as the official one.
I'm looking at other systems, but if it's too similar to OSE, I probably don't need it. Probably just like you don't need OSE if you have White Box.
On my shelf I have the collector's version of Classic Fantasy, the collector's version of Advanced Fantasy, the Classic Fantasy boxed set, the Advanced Fantasy boxed set, and the Czech version of Classic Fantasy, which I got as an author's copy for translation.
There are never enough different versions of the same rules!
Kdo mě chce vidět, tak dnes od šesti první brněnské @mastopivo Před zrcadlem (pub, ne čajovna Za zrcadlem). Já bych sice sám sebe nechtěl potkat, ale...
Anyone from the #retrogaming community who can advise me?
I'm thinking of getting a console, but can't decide — #myioominiplus or #rg35xx?
According to the videos, the RG35XX is a nicer size, has better (warmer) display colors, and (probably) has better build quality. But the Miyoo has Wi-Fi (does it have any real use?) and runs #Pico8 games on it. But it's more expensive (and I couldn't find any official store).
@rasterweb Thanks!
I'll probably end up with the RG35XX too 🙂
I was just wondering - is it possible to upload games to the SD card via USB cable, or do I have to use a card reader?
Yesterday I saw a short talk on lighting design in games, and I was quite interested in this topic. I am looking for some articles, videos etc. where I can learn more. Preferably addressed to someone who has no experience with it.
@honzajavorek Držím palce s přechodem od Gmailu. Já si tím prošel před pár lety a jediné, co mi u Google zůstalo, je kalendář a nedůležité/sdílené dokumenty. A i na tom kalendáři ještě asi zapracuju a přesunu ho…
