@dancinyogi If you have to ask for an apology, itโ€™s not worth anything. It needs to come from the right place, and that certainly isnโ€™t by invitation.

Making sure people are aware of a situation and leaving the outcome for them to handleโ€”thatโ€™s very different. But there are plenty of situations where even that is unnecessary. People really need to be more aware of their actions and how they impact others.

Itโ€™s been a year since I collapsed, and re structured my life to start over. Iโ€™ve had huge leaps of recovery and many steps backward. Currently Iโ€™m struggling. Itโ€™s mainly daily maintenance that exhausts me. I can never get to a place where I feel at ease and like things are handled. There are so many life tasks that are behind, and I canโ€™t seem to be fast and strong enough to get them to a good place so I can relax. Iโ€™m really tired.

Monday to Friday are work and then fall asleep in front of the TV with the cat on my lap until she tells me itโ€™s past my bedtime.

Saturday and Sunday are recovering from the working week.

When I do feel like I have energy, I have to budget it. To include housework in that budget is awkward because I never know how Iโ€™ll feel, physically or mentally.

I managed to run the vacuum cleaner around some carpets this weekend, it drained me.

Everyone, please meet Nimona!!!!! She is 7.3 pounds. Balances on my leg perfectly without assistance, and naturally angles the neck up which encourages a straight wrist while Iโ€™m sitting down. She is in the satin burgundy mist finish. A Charvel Pro-Mod DK 24 HH 2 PT electric guitar. She has Seymour Duncan pickups and the tone versatility so far blows me away. The color is like a perfect warm tan, and the logo is in soft ivory. The tuners are Charvel labeled and silver. Substantial and nice. The nut is graph tusq, an equivalent to bone. It is off white. the neck is all one piece.

The worst advice my older brother has ever given me was to buy a corded hedge trimmer. Iโ€™ve now sawn through the cable twice.

Iโ€™ll get a cordless one again at some point, but for now, Iโ€™ve restored and sharpened our old hand shears. Now I just need a panama hat and a pipe.

@awoodsnet I write comments primarily with Future Me in mind, which is why theyโ€™re quite detailed.

When I canโ€™t find what I need in the official docs, thatโ€™s when I take it to a wider search. If I get something from SO or GitHub comments and end up using it, I always refer to it with the relevant short URL. This way, Future Me has enough of a reference to pick up the thread again if necessary.

My advice for anyone is: always write comments for Future You.
