Group of House Democrats smear students protesting against genocide. Once again, Democrats are not on our side.

Why do so many Democrats think that, as important as abortion rights are, it is ok to support Democratic warmongers who literally are responsible for killing women and children in other countries because of abortion?

@Jackiemauro After Nader Democrats campaigned quite further to the left than they are now. (Unfortunately Obama didn't govern as he campaigned, and Democrats paid a big price for that).

Stein didn't get enough votes in 2016 to really change things, especially as Trump temporarily drove voters back to the Democrats. If Stein gets 5-10 percent this year it could have major ramifications.

Trump winning would be a horrible outcome but we are getting the same horrible results under Biden right now.

@Jackiemauro Things are worse under Biden than they would probably be under Trump, primarily because Democrats go along with Biden but resist Trump.

For example, Trump would not have been able to do anywhere as much harm as Biden re allowing Covid to spread as people ignored Trump's ridiculous statements, but believe Biden when he spread misinformation...

rchusid,
@rchusid@med-mastodon.com avatar

@Jackiemauro

Another example was seen this month. Biden greatly expanded warrantless mass surveillance of Americans and his pressure on Congress led to enough Democrats backing him to block an amendment to require a warrant to cause it to lose by only one vote. Trump would never had gotten such backing from Democrats to suppress civil liberties...

During my life there have been many bad presidents but four who I have especially opposed for their attacks on democratic norms: Richard Nixon, George W Bush, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Biden is turning out to be the worst of them.

Suppression of protests against genocide in Gaza in New York. This Nixonian suppression of civil liberties is happening under a Democratic president, a Democratic governor, and a Democratic mayor.

Not surprisingly, going into stores is a major source of transmission of Covid. This is one reason that Biden's extensive efforts to end masking was so dangerous.

The duopoly only gives the illusion of choice and free elections. It is controlled opposition. They get people to vote for terrible things by convincing them that the other party is worse when both parties are controlled by the same donors.

When Democrats either deny that Biden is responsible for genocide or still try to justify voting for him, I don't want to vote for their party.
When Democrats show no concern for Biden's endless wars and attacks on civil liberties, I don't want to vote for their party.
When Democrats make ridiculous statements like a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Trump it shows me that they don't believe in democracy and I don't want to vote for their party.
