I may be hopelessly wrong, naive, and idealistic but, based on my relatively mild and brief experience living under legally enforced #segregation, and on the beliefs of others I know and have known who experienced the same or similar, I don't believe most people who lived in #ghettos of the past would approve of the use of ghettos at any time, in any form, in any place, for any reason, against anyone, by anyone.

Who would want that legacy?

This is a great explainer on the importance of not just adding alt text to all images, but on adding accurately descriptive alt text.

I sometimes get overbearing regarding posts that lack alt text or that don't include alt text that's fully accurate and descriptive.

For example, "Cat", or similarly vague text, is absolutely not good enough when posting an image of a cat, read this to better understand why that's so:

#IATSE's #contract expires next summer, and if the issue of #residuals for the "#creatives" is resolved fairly, that could help the "below the line" workers when it's their time to negotiate with the #studios.
