NT 3.1 through Server 2003 was the sweet spot for me. Back when thr system did what you want and otherwise stayed out of the way. Windows has been all downhill from there...
It’s not a reader macro for another Lisp (though it started that way iirc), but a standalone language and compiler. The OOP features and verbose syntax make the ‘simplicity’ part debatable though
I know Red Hat is no longer going to package it as an RPM on their platform, but will this change affect the RPM that is directly on the Libre Office website too?
