@pbump Am I wrong to be highly skeptical about polls in this era where most people I know do not have a land line, nor do they answer unknown numbers on their cell? I often have the sense that most polls reflect the opinions of a dozen elderly farmers in Minnesota

@pbump I'm wide open to the fact that I may be wrong or overly skeptical, but "Pollsters are aware of these issues and working together on best practices" isn't incredibly reassuring. Especially in something as non-quantifiable as approval/disaproval; it's not like an exit poll where you can compare your polling to actual votes cast. I think the issues I mention are valid, if overstated. IN any event, you wrote an interesting thoughtful article.

@rbreich The only way (literally the only way) Thomas could get impeached with a Dem in the White House is if he suddenly had a change of heart, and starting voting with the liberal block of Justices. Yeah, that'd do it.

In consultation with my doctor, I have decided that after 3 years I'd like to see what life is like without antidepressants.

I am on 20mg Citalopram (an SSRI). We will very slowly lower the dose.

Does anyone have experience with quitting antidepressants? What withdrawal symptoms can I expect?

Any information or advice is welcome!
