BREAKING: The House just passed HR 6090, which expands the definition of antisemitism to include criticism of Israel.

Let me be clear. People have rights. State governments do not have rights. This terrible bill sets a dangerous precedent & does nothing to actually decrease or stop the scourge of antisemitism. The Senate should not pass this bill and Biden should not sign it into law.

@davidaugust I cannot justify, or even explain my soft spot for George Santos. If the really evil majors of the Republican party: Trump, Alito, Thomas, McConnell, even MTG or Gaetz are James Bond Villiains bent on world domination; then Santos was the bad guy in a Scooby Doo episode. He's small time, just looking to make rent and a little liposuction, and he's utterly inept. He doesn't spout hate or foment violence, he just wants to steal your parking spot and defraud your grandma.

@GottaLaff NFL I'm thinking the only reason Biden is agreeing to debate is because he is certain that Trump won't. Biden has nothing to gain, and quite a bit potentially to lose, in debating the Ass Hat, but this way he gets to claim moral high ground. Trump's handlers would never allow him to participate, at this point he's almost totally incoherent

The script-flipping here is a remarkable: rather than focus on the severity and precedent of what’s before them - whether should be prosecuted for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election - they appear focused on the potential for a future president to be frivolously prosecuted. There appears to be little concern among the conservative justices for the substance and significance of the case.
