BMBX pays tribute to traditional linear radio both with its name and focus on music.
Streaming music services feel isolated and cold to me, so sometimes hearing a DJ interview a guest or share a backstage story about a band is just refreshing. And when they play a great song, being able to quickly save it for later is pretty cool.
Does anyone know how other radio streaming apps like Broadcasts and Triode that support discovery features get around App Store Guideline 5.2.3?
My first submission of BMBX was rejected for the following reason:
"Your app contains content or features that may violate the rights of one or more third parties. Specifically, your app provides potentially unauthorized access to third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services.”
Looking for some feedback from #webdev folks.. I'm experimenting with migrating a #nextjs project to Astro. On paper, the site is a great candidate - content-focused (blog, articles) looking for lighter client experience and better dev experience. https://astro.build/
I have a CMS wired up and have started migrating a couple React components. What gotchas are hiding deeper in this project? Where are the common pitfalls with Astro?
It’s pretty fun to get a used cartridge and see what the saves on it might be. This copy of #Tetris DX is going to be a birthday present for one of the kids.
@thaddeus I has been my go-to for playing Game Boy games... and for playing games via open source cores and engines. I still like the form factor of the DMG Game Boy but being able to play a lot more games while being properly pocketable is a win.
@thaddeus@marioguzman This is built into Kagi, have you given it a try? I have nothing but positive things to say about it; only search engine with results as good as Google + more features https://kagi.com/
@doney@thaddeus@marioguzman Yup, @thaddeus, you can add certain domains to your blocklist (so they don’t appear in search results), boost them, or pin them to the top. Really useful.
I picked up a few #SNES and #NES carts at D-Pad in New Braunfels, TX today. The store is pretty awesome - lots of good games across the 8 and 16 bit eras.
We’re planning to test out the NES Four Score this weekend as a family 🏐⚽️
