In , region, where active hostilities are taking place, the first executions of civilians by troops have been reported, police said. A man who tried to flee on foot was killed. Civilians are also being captured.

Evacuations had been taking place, but now the Russian military, trying to gain a foothold in the city, is not allowing locals to evacuate.

Last night Blinken played Neil Young's song 'Rocking' in the Free World' in a #Kyiv bar with the #Ukrainian band 19.99. While a 19.99 band member said the performance was important, many in #Ukraine feel the performance was disrespectful given the situation on the front.

65-year-old Serhii Kotsar, a resident of #Vovchansk, has little left after his childhood home was struck by a Russian bomb, #Kyiv Independent writes.

As a result of the Russian attack, his cat Elia was burned, she survived, but was badly injured. Apart from her, Serhii has other pets, which unfortunately had to be evacuated by volunteers.

Secretary of State has arrived in Ukraine to boost morale and strategize on deploying new military aid, according to BBC.

But for now I am still driving along Cambridge’s picturesque winding country roads in my mom's car and trying to understand what went wrong with my forward park in the supermarket parking lot…

I have been in the UK for the last few weeks preparing for Monday 13th April 7.03 am when I will be making my eighth and hopefully last attempt to pass my driving test.
