    Fun fact: there are over 1000 commits to the Mastodon code base made between version 4.1 and the forthcoming version 4.2, even more when you look at “boring” things like dependency updates.

    The core team doesn’t talk about the good work they have been doing anywhere nearly enough. They’re not all massive and impressive features but a lot of groundwork laid for future change.

    Our members already see it, but there’s a lot that will be better once all Mastodon instances get to update soon

    Looking for something simple I can use to publish longer form posts about what I'm working on, because 500 characters is simply not enough.

    (I mean, I have a @medium I used to use, but I'd rather something directly available on the fediverse?)

    @thisismissem @medium WriteFreely. I ran an instance of it for a bit. It requires MySQL which I found annoying. It also lacks a lot of controls to do much of anything but post text.

    Anyone done steroid shots for seasonal allergies before? I usually get wrecked by ragweed in the fall, and my ENT brought it up as an alternative to nasal sprays.
