Apps need to be up to a certain polish before you submit them to the general app store, but the testflight link is still open, you don’t need to be a dev to install a testflight beta
Glad you started this repo, I have been continuing to update my chart with instances I have found, but so far mostly just focusing on the intermix of fediverse software under the same control. I see you have been focusing just on cooperatively run galaxies, which I think is definitely the direction we need to take in the long run, but there are seemingly very few.
As more and more instances are providing multiple services under the same management, we need a term to talk about this type of arrangement. A Fediverse Galaxy is a collection of federated software that is provided by the same admin or collective.
first post from Memmy! the first thing I had issues with is I typed my instance name in as lemmy.ml without the https:// and it wouldn't let me login nor did it give an error.
Top three #lemmy instances (lemmy.ml, lemmy.world, beehaw.org) are all basically the same size.
With #kbin 's kbin.social and fedia.io (run by infosec.exchange) in the same range.
I experienced it today looking for #NBA communities for the #nbaplayoffs , and it seems the biggest community right now (after literally 1day) is on lemmy.world not lemmy.ml
the threadiverse is a new colloquial name for Kbin, Lemmy, BrutaLinks, Prismo and any other fediverse software that implements a "link aggregator" type interface that has been popularized by the likes of SlashDot, Digg, Reddit, Hacker News, Lobsters etc
