There are so many websites that track CVEs and "bug bounties", tracking packages that make use of standard library functions which if they were given untrusted input, could perform harmful acts.

Why are there no websites tracking the individual CVE trolls who are constantly opening frivolous CVEs and wasting everyone's time?

  1. Someone in NYC had the great idea to introduce congestion pricing, to discourage car commuters. Seems like a good idea, no? The law was set to pass but...

  2. Someone in NYC forgot that about 40% of NYCs city center cops, are car commuters! Only 2.5% of city center workers are cops, and slightly under 2% of all workers would pay the congestion pricing. So it's a lot of cops driving in to the city center.

@mekkaokereke and that's why she killed the whole plan ? Uber and Lyft cars were exempt, if the cops were threatening in some way she could have just given cops an exemption instead of trashing the whole thing. It's not like cops are beholden to any other car rules , they all get free NYC parking for their personal vehicles just by commandeering huge swaths of sidewalks.

I think she killed it just because she wants to get the outer suburban vote in the next gubernatorial election

What's the deal with FastAPI? is it just a flaming piece of poop software or does it just have a lot of beginners using it and getting confused? we literally have a whole category in our discussion tracker called "fastapi", and it's where all the "we have no idea what's connecting where, why it connects, why it disconnects, why it's sharing connections between tasks" I mean what is the deal with this?

Wow I just opened Plex for the first time in whatever and wow that is so sad. My Plex server is nowhere to be found, nowhere in the app is there any option whatsoever to even try to find your server. It's all just D-grade trash content like Netflix has ten years ago. So sad, like Plex is going to be Netflix. Get on line behind TiVo, Plex !

You don't have to use Mako. I wrote it to replace something else that I found to be entirely embarrasing. I still use Mako myself but please don't build your new VC's $5M strategy on top of it. Use jinja or something. I don't have time to do much with Mako.
