Twitter evicted for non-payment of rent in Boulder, CO. Sheriff ordered to evict.

#Twitter owes three months’ rent to its Boulder landlord, and a judge has signed off on evicting the tech giant from its office there

The judge issued an order that the sheriff should assist in the eviction of Twitter within the next 49 days — i.e. before the end of July

More than 150 staff work there.

The case number is 2023CV30342 in Boulder District Court.

My MAGA neighbor says us being out in our yard or even our patio triggers his alarm cameras and said if we continue to trigger his camera notifications after a certain hour, when he goes to bed, he is going to make a complaint for disturbing the peace.

Triggering infrared sensors is not disturbing the peace. Tweak your sensitivity.

After almost 18-months on Mastodon exclusively, we need some way to have a minimum user by user-controlled, private algorithm.

I miss so much content from people I follow just because I am not online at the same time they post.

I've tried lists and use them and they help but we need more.

I've lost so many regular interactions just for not being online when someone posts.

It's almost a Mastodon deal-breaker until I think of the alternatives.

New roof installed, including racoon damage repair and prevention. Wire mesh installed to help keep them out and other measures taken. New fascia installed with wire backing.

At one corner, there was even a hole where they tore through to make an entry.

Racoon remediation and prevention added around $2000 to the job.

I use catch-all email address. I used one all trough 2007-2016 for political emails.

I just got an email from an old pwned address I don't use from a new left-leaning get out the vote PAC that was formed last year

This tells me they are buying their email lists from shady characters or are shady themselves

I tracked the PAC down to an apartment in Texas

Be careful what you fall for this season. Consider using a new, separate burner email account for politics #USPol So many crooks #infosec

Growing up, we used to put green beans through strings and then hang them up to dry.

After dried, they would go into pillowcases and stored so we could have green beans and ham over the winter. We called them shuck(y) beans.

Over my lifetime, I don't know how many beans I strung. Over a mile in length, I would guess.

We're growing beans this year. First in a long time. I need to practice my stringing. 😂

Weird #plumbing issue. In warm weather, our toilet and drains sound hollow, gurgles, etc, when flushing or draining, like when the tub is drained. In the cold months, it is fine. Last year we had the system snaked 100%. No clogs–been an issue since we bought house in 2019.

I am thinking the warm weather, wind, etc is causing negative air pressure through the main roof plumbing vent

What does the #Fediverse think? Any solutions?
