I always love the #gingerbreadhouse in the lobby of the #GrandCalifornianHotel , but they've absolutely outdone themselves this year. The first pictures were from around 11am yesterday.
And then I noticed all the sweet treats being used to build and decorate the house - scones and candies and candy canes and waffle ice cream cone material and croissants and cinnamon rolls and donuts. But as the sign said, they were still creating. More than 12 hours later, I was back and there were indeed some very prominent additions - a chocolate chip cookie rug in front of the fireplace, 2 cupcakes as #Christmas trees with their own adorable confection ornaments, and of course, #ChipAndDale !
So we were hanging out in #BlackSpireOutpost yesterday, and I'd noticed a group of people gathered. #ViMoradi, #Rey & #Chewie#Chewbacca were cautiously making their way around near the repair garage, where #stormtrooper had been coming back repeatedly for about the past hour. Our intrepid trio had gathered a group to help them scout & make their way stealthily through, right past us, as was our luck. 1/2
And then I noticed that it wasn't just #stormtroopers headed our way but also #KyloRen .
As I was busy watching them, the husband later told me that after passing us, the group had taken the walkway above us, just below where Ronto Roasters is. He said that when they saw Kylo Ren, #Chewie bolted away. #Rey and #ViMoradi were crouched down watching the activity for a bit before sneaking away. 2/2
The stage area in the #SonomaTerrace area was also set up, though there's no actual stage per se. Lunch was at #PymTestKitchen today because I wanted to try the "Bigger Than Buffalo" Wings. I was pre-warned because I'd seen the picture in the mobile app but was still disappointed that the "wing" was not actually a wing, but rather, a drumstick. Turkey wings are hard to come by. They know what a wing is because the accompanying chicken piece was in fact a wing. The turkey was a little dry, though I did appreciate the plentiful potato bites. #AvengersCampus#DisneyCaliforniaAdventure 1/2
@TDP4 first stop is usually space mountain but it’s closed for renovations so we went haunted mansion! Those are my must sees, but also I must have a dole whip or the park day isn’t complete :blobfox:

Finally had the chance today to try the garlic cheesy pretzel bread that's available at #MauricesTreats and #EdelweissSnacks in #Disneyland . Very tasty. I think it would pair well with a meat skewer and a vegetable skewer from Bengal BBQ.
I started with the yellowtail carpaccio, which wasn't as thin as I normally expect carpaccio to be, but I actually preferred the thicker bite of the fish. The accompaniments really added a lot of contrasting flavors to the dish. Really enjoyed it. /1
For my second course, I asked if I could have the mushroom dish from the Vintner's menu, because, no mushroom bisque. Depending on availability, they don't always allow single dishes to be pulled off that menu, but they did agree this time. I enjoyed it, and I also liked the plating of the bowl on top of the dish.
The dessert choices didn't call to me, so I opted to just have a cappuccino, which became an even better idea when they brought a piece of housemade biscotti with it! #NapaRose#GrandCalifornianHotel#Disneyland /3 end

@tagesschau Die Frage sollte sein „Wie vermeiden wir unnötige Flüge?“ Das dürften so 80% der Flüge sein. Wie wäre es mit Kerosin besteuern? Erhöhung der Start und Landegebühren. Verbot von Privatflügen.
