These aren't really a narrative series. Each one has a different purpose in our research project to explore what motivates young people to prepare for disasters. We're also learning about game design and the technicalities of Unity along the way.
Kurz und knapp zum Spielen von #Brettspiele|n mit meiner Frau: Zuerst eine Runde #cascadia. Wir finden es im Grundspiel gut für uns - auch nicht mit mehreren bitte, sonst streckt es sich ohne Mehrwert. Gewonnen, da meine Frau keine großen Gelände hinbekommen hat.
Danach wurde gewürfelt und angekreuzt: #encore oder #nochmal. Da sie ungerne Joker nimmt, konnte ich mich entscheidend absetzen und mit großem Abstand gewinnen können. Wir haben ein paar Extrablöcke... 😄 @brettspiele@board 1/4
Another game of #Cascadia tonight and this time our 8 YO joined in with my 11 YO, Lindsey and myself.
11 really wanted to play the non family version but I thought it would be too many things to remember. We compromised by selecting two animal scoring cards (elk and fish) and used them and then let the other three animals score just as groups like in the family variant. It worked out really well!
#SasquatchResources is trying to determine if it’s economically feasible to mine metals from the tailings of four former mines that closed decades ago.
The company says if it goes ahead, it would clean up the #environmental mess that was left behind.
