Buoys, trap and bait barrels, all tools of the trade for a Maine Lobsterman. Stored on the commercial pier at Cape Porpoise in Kennebunkport, Maine, this equipment awaits being loaded onto the owner's boat for use off the coast of Kennebunkport.
#RussianKnapweed is controlled by picolinic acids (e.g., aminopyralids, clopyralids) and… not much else. I keep threatening to get my permit so that I can use picloram, because a small amount of that will do better with less environmental impact than year-on-year treatment with just about anything else.
(Cue everyone showing up in my mentions to tell me how bad glyphosate/roundup is… now).
#Thistles can be controlled with picolinic acids or dicamba.
I think I've had it with the breakage of #Gnome#extensions, so I decided to only use one to minimize the danger: "App Icons Taskbar". It has an icon to show all apps, and the fav/open apps as well.
The truth is, the vast majority of people want a launch bar. This is evident by the massive amount of downloads for Dash to #Dock and Dash to Panel specifically. The insistence of the Gnome proj to ignore users for 15 years now, and force mobile UIs is a mystery to me.
I have a multifunction octopus of a #Thunderbolt dock for my 4yr old Macbook which is totally unmarked and I can't figure out how I purchased it, nor from where.
Assumed the BrazilianRiver people, but there's no record there, nor any of the other sites I use.
I wasn't visiting any shops during that part of late 2020. Makes debugging manufacturer-specific issues tough.
And nothing in my email of the time. You can't buy anything without a confirmation email. Weird.
Support though seems pretty good, as they know a few bad reviews can their sales. Perhaps it's all the surplus units they get stuck with, but they'll often send you a new one when yours craps out. (If you can remember who sold it to you).
And shopping you need to label all your fingers and toes with your criteria though, and triple check when ordering to ensure you don't forget a key feature. So easy to do.
This new Dock by @jsaux? Despite some minor flaws, it might be their best product yet. It turns out to be the best :steamdeck: Steam Deck Dock on the market right now, offering HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, VRR, and ALLM. Using it for my MBP as daily driver now, which tells you something. 👀
I plug my Mac into the Dock with the monitor plugged in. Audio Blairs from the monitor. I plug headphones into the dock, and it still Blairs from the monitor. I plug headphones into the Mac’s headphone jack, and ah yes, finally it uses the headphones. But if I plug headphones in before I plug in the dock, it comes out of the dock. I guess that makes sense, but still…
The Dock is a Dell Thunderbolt 4 docking station with bunches of ports. #Mac#audio#dock
