The UAW’s historic win in Chattanooga shows the power of the sort of multi-racial coalition of workers that has terrified Southern aristocracy for centuries.
@lolgop #RedState govs try to discourage auto-workers from unionizing with the "threat" that if they do, automakers will just move/open plants in states where there are no #unions.
THAT is an argument for forming a #union IN all 50 states, NOT trying to talk workers into continuing to work for less money out of fear of losing their jobs.
I don't know if people get that we've never had a president who has gone tits out for labor like this. It's the literal opposite of Reagan, whose entire identity was as a union buster.
"I congratulate the #Volkswagen autoworkers in #Chattanooga who filed for a #union election with the UAW. As one of the world’s largest automakers, many Volkswagen plants internationally are unionized. As the most pro-union president in American history, I believe American workers, too, should have a voice at work. The decision whether to join a union belongs to the workers."
Probably the second most photographed thing in #Chattanooga
I thought I knew what to expect from TMax, but this was a lot darker in the shadows than I expected. The Canon was new to me, and only has spot metering with no exposure lock. As I look at it more, I like it better. Maybe its just normal TMax behavior
@christianselig I’ll be doing my small part by not requesting a refund.
Apollo is beautiful. I hate that so many users will be denied a beautiful portal to Reddit.
I am seeking other ways to find Reddit-type connections esp. for cities and other real local communities. I hope anyone with ideas will share! #chattanooga

Funny you mention this, I drive by it frequently. I'm trying to take some interesting photos of the construction, but I haven't been happy with the results yet. This looked better in my head than it actually turned out. I was under the railroad bridge in your photo.
I figure I've got at least another decade to get it right, so no hurry. 🙄 💸
