Israel makes it through to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest (although the booing will be dubbed out).
Have always wondered, why does the Middle Eastern country Israel take part in the Eurovision Song Contest anyway?
Now I'm guessing that, as Hitler & Nazism and Mussolini & Fascism were European innovations, Netanyahu and Likud and their brutal ideology (Zionism?) fit right in?
More evidence, as if any were needed, that people have lost their goddamned minds.
“Oh sure they brutally murdered those women. But did they abuse them? We demand to know!“
Never mind this was one of the most thoroughly documented atrocities of all time.
I’m old enough to remember when these Hamas cockroaches sent a 22-y-o kid to blow himself up at a party primarily attended by teenaged Russian Jewish émigrés. (2001) Is there no degradation, no foul act, to which one could not imagine them stooping?
But credulous American academics want to wash the blood off of their hands. #Hatred has made these people insane. Or the other way around; can’t say for sure.
Every injury, every death, every new widow or orphan on either side, are all 100% due to Hamas, who not only committed an horrifying act of genocide, but have also had the keys to stop the fighting at any point.
As long as Hamas holds hostages, they will remain the biggest threat to the safety of their own people.
The Palestinian 🇵🇸 resistance in #Gaza has released video of the ambushes in Al-Zanna, east of Khan Yunis, that precipitated the Zionists' recent withdrawal.
15 dead in Al-Shifa Hospital due to lack of electricity, including six newborn children.
There remains no drinking water or food at Al-Shifa, neither for patients nor staff.
Medical staff in Al-Shifa report that the decomposition of about 100 dead bodies in the hospital yard, which cannot be reached due to the threat of bombing, and the accumulation of medical waste pose a serious risk to the displaced.
Gaza officials say hospitals come under new Israeli attacks
Gaza officials said Israel launched air strikes on or near at least three hospitals on Friday, further stressing the Palestinian enclave's precarious health system as it struggles to cope with thousands of people wounded or displaced in Israel's war against Hamas militants.
@mostaurelius they tried this already, remember? the Israeli airstrike on the hospital, 500 dead announced within minutes (wow that’s some fast counting) and then it turned out to be an islamic jihad rocket misfire that actually landed in the parking lot and killed dozens, not 500. yeah, one would be wise to be skeptical of “Gaza officials” (code word for hamas, who is rapidly losing control of Gaza, permanently) #EndHamas#FreeTheHostages
“‘Palestinian lives and Israeli lives are of equal value’…there can be ‘no peace, nor security for Israel, without justice for the Palestinian people…Seventy-five years of war, displacement, dispossession, and terrorism teach us that…through dialogue, diplomacy and politics, however difficult or unimaginable that may seem today…From Ireland, we know that peaceful coexistence and indeed partnership is possible, even after a period of prolonged conflict.’” – Varadkar
@Uraael@aral none of your screed actually managed to address the point made by the graphs, but that’s ok, i’m sure your attempt to justify October 7th with an argument reliant on your favorite geocities blog will go far. #EndHamas#FreeTheHostages
@Uraael you didn’t but that’s ok. it’s difficult to know exact figures, it’s certainly less than the hamas-reported 10k but in the thousands. have you ever noticed that hamas doesn’t report military vs civilian casualties, even though they 100% know the identities of their estimated 30-40k combatants? don’t you find that the slightest bit suspicious? and when are you going to call for hamas to #FreeTheHostages? i know you are capable of doing the right thing.
@HeavenlyPossum@aral if you can’t see the difference in the graphs i shared with you, then you are blind. it’s not a red herring, did Israel use chlorine gas? #EndHamas#FreeTheHostages
Countries who talk about human rights elsewhere continue to stand by #Israel despite its genocide in #Gaza.
Meanwhile countries who never talk about #humanrights elsewhere and commit crimes in their own countries, continue to make empty public statements in support of human rights in Gaza.
Question for the American Psychological Association: How does one pontificate about moralism and, in the same breath, actually do harm by silencing thoughtful voices asking for an end to genocide?
I'm all for a ceasefire in Gaza and for stopping Israeli bombings and cutting of essential services (water, electricity, food, medicine), but I can't support any "Free Palestine" initiative, unless it includes #FreePalestineFromHamas and #FreeTheHostages.
It is Hamas that holds 100s of innocent people taken from Israel and >2 million Palestinians in Gaza hostage, whilst their leadership enjoys their life of luxury in the Emirates.
