    @geobomatic The linked crate is a client. I guess that @kubikpixel is looking for a server. In that case, my recommendations are lldap if you only need essential features and Kanidm otherwise:

    Both are written in #Rust and therefore efficient and easy to deploy.

    I use lldap on my home server and can recommend it. I wanted to experiment with Kanidm in the next days though :D

    @owen the X.500 data model still keeps all your mobile phones working, it's just fronted by now instead of DAP. And usually, it's on these days.

    Today I have been experimenting with the lightweight server: https://github.com/kd2org/karadav

    It is really easy to set up, even supports the clients and comes with a basic looking but functional web-client as well.

    Ultimately, the goal is to offer a bit of webdav storage here on this instance, similar to the "drive" feature in / but compatible with a lot of external software such as to sync browser bookmarks or for notes.

    Account integration can be done via or a small custom script, so I am confident that I will have it fully working soon :blobcataww:
