I’ve been journaling my daily work using Logseq for the past year or so. It has transformed how I work. It’s a log of the little wins I’ve tackled, notes on what was the route to success, and links to where the solution is, whether that is a Confluence doc, a PR on GitHub.
It is also a “memorium pool”, I no longer have to stress about remembering things. It has a powerful note linking mechanism that is automatic, I can find related notes easily and visualise how they are related to each other.
If something comes up during the day, I can tag it as /TODO and it will add that note on a calendar view so I can quickly glance if I have things I need to take care next week.
Give it a go. Remind yourself you win every day. Remind yourself that things do take time. Remind yourself that what you do today matters.
This post is not sponsored. It’s just me grateful for open-source. Want start your journaling today? Go here: https://logseq.com/
Was möchte man denn für Notizen verwenden, wenn man diese auf #Linux, #Android oder #Windows erstellen und bearbeiten möchte. Verteilt auf verschiedene Geräte sollen diese über #Syncthing werden.
I try now #Logseq and this is #OpenSource and I would like to like it but somewhere I can't manage to understand and use it. I don't just want to write down my thoughts and #ideas, I also want to be able to check off a #todo list… 😐
Hm. I just discovered that Moleskine has a note app called Minimal that lets you publish to a website… unfortunately, it’s their own. Otherwise, it’s a neat little app. It ages your notes and notifies you when they are about to be deleted.
It looks like StandardNotes is joining forces with Proton.
"Our intention has always been to build a small, sustainable organization that helps protect your right to keep personal information private and preserve your freedom to think, speak, and act. Joining with Proton—one of the rare organizations that can (and is willing) to take a long-term approach—gives us the best opportunity to achieve this ambition."
We saw Polina OSETINSKAYA playing a Bach piece years ago. I always like to watch and listen to her perform. HEY that one guy had his music sideways " #notes ridin diiiry... somethin somethin ridin durty" #BaroqueSun
Been trying trying out @logseq. I love that I can just dump everything and it will organize it for me! What I like: #notes are stored locally in markdown files (can backup w github), #orgmode compatibility, and ofc #foss. Althought I'd love to see a #vim editing plugin :) https://logseq.com/
In particular WHY that particular method? need cross device/platform? 2 b available online? What (about this, or any method) are challenges to you? Do you struggle to organize your notes? What would you wish was better?

Orgzly Revived is a community-maintained version of Orgzly, as the development of the original app is no longer active.
The Orgzly Revived project aims to continue development of the Orgzly application. The rebranding is due to the disappearance of the Orgzly author so we, as the community, had to come up with a new solution. We plan to continue adding useful features, fixing bugs, keeping up-to-date with technological evolution, and generally maintaining the Org Mode outreach and its support on Android.
I’ve been busy these past few days with two small personal document-related projects running in parallel. I guess these can be categorised as overdue housekeeping, and finding and sorting documents that are scattered here, there, and everywhere.
