@meganL Last week at work, I (m44) was reminiscing with someone older (f65) about long distance calling plans, and the young ones (f22, f23, f22) had no idea what we were talking about, and mentioned how complicated that all sounded. I didn't even want to mention ATT Circle plans lol
Have it your way. Pick your octane at the Sunoco Blend-O-Matic Gas Pump.
You called out a specific number from 200-240 or 260, and the attendant filled the vehicle with the gasoline that went along with that particular number. The motorist had the choice of 200 (premium), 210, 220, 230, and 240 (all mid premium), and 260 (super premium). The vehicle was being filled with a combination of 200 gasoline and a specific amount of octane additive for the desired number. #retroadvertisement#retro
@cenbe Talk about a blast from the past. Huh … Some gas stations chains, like Sunoco, gave out trading stamps, S&H Green Stamps (maybe) too. These days I think New Jersey still has gas station attendants.
Looking for Toshiba L50utils.exe - laptop pcmcia drivers for Windows 95. It is long gone from the Toshiba website. Anybody with a floppy with this on or know where to find a copy?
