I’m starting to wonder where I might throw my voice, energy, and money in #Election2024 Two things will help drive my decision; is #Manchin running? Will we need to and how do we beat off #NoNames?
I’ll begrudgingly help Manchin for the sake of our democracy, even though he seems more interested in attention antics.
Republicans in #Ohio are trying squash democracy by requiring ballot initiatives have a 60% majority for passage rather than a simple 50%. And they are trying to do this through a special election on August 8, a time when many people are busy with summer plans.
