Well, would you look at (listen to) that? Another entry in the Metaphysical Shitposting oeuvre popped up overnight! The newest track is called "Demon Rodeo" and it's a rhythmic, percussive sortie into weird space, with lots of weird voicings poking thru the mix. Have a listen!

The track is an extended version of "The Whispering Wind" releases on a compilation album earlier this year. The single version should set the mood for autumn. It is also a somewhat spooky track, so it is appropriate music for Halloween and other occasions when you like something spooky.

Here's mine. The bands here are a weird mix, but I listen to some of these almost daily. Many are SUPER catchy, and some I've mentioned on here before. (Warning: some brutal metal/odd cover art/song titles, etc are here, too).
It's Bandcamp Friday (all the money goes to the artists today!) and I finally bought two of my favorite albums.
The first is 'No Future, Tell the Kids' by The Thirties. (It's not miserable or hopeless music despite the title, it's actually very hopeful and uplifting). I streamed this one so much it didn't let me listen anymore til I paid, and I was HAPPY to. GREAT bunch of punk-esque rock songs with killer lyrics about how the Sacklers and incels suck. Second purchase of the day is another of my favorite albums, 'Eternally Stupid' by Bluff City Vice. This stuff is magical. I don't even know.. kinda electronica, punkish, like if a garage rock/punk band was obsessed with dirty hiphop beats and Beck? I don't know. Here's my first-ever track I released under the name Ether Diver. It's a glacially paced ambient piece that is intensely focused on tiny movements and constant evolution. It's great for relaxation, reading, or doing yoga/meditation type activities.
This track is a pisstake of paranoid ranting idiots on TV and the internet. It's my take on the glorious #plunderphonics of #Negativland and similar acts (mostly Negativland lol). Not something I've released much of but I love playing in this space and it's a personal favorite track.
The title, "WHOSE RESPONSIBLE THIS?" is an obscure meme that grew out of the comments section of a website I used to write for.
This track is a personal favorite and, I think, a vastly underrated song. (Well, under heard, really -- probably due to its placement at the end of the album.) It's a little rough-hewn, but has a lot of cool elements, including a two-part structure and some more #plunderphonics!
A dark horse favorite of fans, and a track that I started off liking and ended up loving, here's "Coven of the Outer Dark" from my 2022 album Tales of Etherspace. This song is basically all filter sweeps. And it's a beautiful thing. The vibe here is immaculate.
