1/2
Earlier this month, I finished a large blanket for a work friend, but when I was purchasing the yarn for the blanket, I managed to wildly over-estimate how much yarn I actually needed.
So the progress on my aim to use up my stash got pushed back a bit by having another 12 balls of yarn to use up.
My solution? Another blanket!
This one is a bit smaller than the other and will likely be about right for a single bed or as a lap blanket.
2/2 I have plenty of my own already, so I'll be holding a giveaway/raffle type thing for it to go to someone who wants it so if you want it you should keep an eye on my socials!
Hand knitted with two knitting needles soft, fluffy, and cozy blanket 🧶🤗
Six different colors stripes connected in to one 😊 #knitting#blanket#craft#handmade#cozy
I've finished the massive blanket for my colleague, I don't have e anywhere I can take a decent photo of it, so here is a still I grabbed from the "unrolling" video. I am very happy with this blanket, and hopefully, my colleague will be too!
How it started……. How it’s going. 5 months in and in between knitting 6 hats and a pair of socks my #blanket is coming along. I’m really enjoying #knitting this one #handmade#autumnblanket
Trying new #autumn#maple#color#yarn (20% wool ; 80% acrylic) for very soft #warm and #cozy#blanket 62W x 64L #handmade#knitting#crochet 🧶
Yarn’s colors standing out because I connected six separate pieces in to one piece. Otherwise, colors would be distributed as tiny stripes. Knitted connections decorated by #weaving#technique, which adds the beauty and uniqueness to the blanket 🤗🧶🙏🙏
One yarn I can't get away with is cotton. I had to really force myself to finish this evil eye granny square blanket. It was from Hobbii and 70% off! Was making 2 freeform cushions with leftovers but have hidden them under the bed. I like a bit of give in yarns. Also a super chunky premium acrylic which crocheted up like a board. Never again.
