I am co-founding a new startup! #InputLab creates test data for thousands of formats from electronic invoices to retail orders, covering all input features – and we just got an 800k€ initial funding to start as a #CISPA spin-off in September.

We are #hiring, especially experts in constraint solving and test generation – and we are looking out for #collaboration partners and early #adopters from industry and public service. Check us out at https://inputlab.net! #startup #XML #softwaretesting

I'm so damn sick of Discord being the platform where so many projects (FOSS and otherwise) do their community, collaboration, and support. That app is a confusing hot mess and gives me anxiety every time I open it.

Saddening me time and again is seeing individualism and fragmentation in .

between projects that's so often low-hanging fruit, yet never happens. More anticipation of needs, helping each other, be stronger together. Yet it hardly shapes up to the extent that it could.

We seem to lack time to become sustainable, let alone 'win' from . No time to seek collab as we prod on alone.

There are exceptions of course, and better collab tools are becoming available.

Good news and bad news for users if :

They're working on a DB version in parallel that will provide better scalability, performance and realtime (). They'll charge for RTC.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the end for markup as they are implementing only now and a conversion feature later on. 😞

Therefore, logseq is not an option for me any more and I'll need to think about a migration strategy for my wife.

As a 10-year veteran of , when COVID-19 struck and everybody went remote, I thought that this would invalidate my USP, my key differentiator.
Boy was I wrong.
After three years of remote work my assumption was that everyone would have learned to excel remotely. I was wrong. So so wrong.
I think a part of the exec's hard push for is the understanding that many organisations' 'remote culture' was just lipstick on the pig of their in-office culture.

: "X launched the Delegate feature last year to make it easier for teams to collaborate on a single account. The concept is similar to using a social media management service, but without using a third-party platform. If you use this feature, you give Alice and Bob permission to create posts for you through their own X accounts. Your account still has a good password and two-factor authentication. But, as with the service, your account is now protected by your account, Alice’s account, and Bob’s account. If Bob does not secure his own account, then he also leaves your account less secure than it was before you gave him access.

In an ideal world, X should allow you to require that delegates match the security that you have on your account. If you have two-factor authentication, they should have that too. This challenge is not unique to X, however, or to social media." https://www.glitchcat.xyz/p/delegating-access-to-email-social

"The tools of online collaboration are still relatively primitive and often discouragingly awkward. But they’re improving, and I’m seeing glimmerings of hope that in a few years we’ll have vastly more capable systems. That’s particularly important because without better collaboration tools, we won’t be able to take advantage of the ways in which e-books can be truly superior to traditional print."

The pocket is a 6 1/4" by 6 1/4" square when raw, but will shrink to 5 3/4" in length by 6" in width after washing.

It has a rectangular reinforcement on the upper left-hand corner, but not on the right-hand corner.

Saturday I bent all the letters in all the colors for this collaboration with Alicia Eggert. A little bigger than I remember them, but that is nice.

That turquoise wants to stain so much. I got it way hot and bombarded it about 6 times which seemed to help reduces the size of the stains. I think they didn't bake out the binder from the coating? None of the other colors had the staining.

Oh these colors do go quite well together :)

the letters, seen off here on the age in table. Its important that they are all white when they are off- so the installation is as boring and colorless as possible and people dont know what is what color
some staining seen in the turquoise "U". The mercury trap is still on, mercury still inside. I even pumped it upside down in hopes that gravity would pull the loosened up stains to the back of the letter. So strange, I have never really seen this in new glass.
