Me in May 2022 and me in February 2024.
My progress is slow due to my chronic pain illness and hypermobility. Many days I can work out and only some I can really train.
But I try to keep my muscles strong and, hopefully with enough time, I could make them a wee bit stronger still...

As great scientists have said and as all children know, it is above all by the imagination that we achieve perception, and compassion, and hope. --Ursula K. Le Guin
Bin noch 2000 Schritte entfernt muss jetzt aber erst mal Pause machen, weil ich aus Versehen so hart Cardio gemacht hab dass ich angefangen hab zu schwitzen
I wish I knew what is different about my brain chemistry these days, that is allowing me to kinda sorta enjoy my little workouts, to look forward to them and regret when I miss a day.
Whenever I have tried to develop this habit in the past I have hated every minute of it. It's frustrating because if I had managed to develop and stick to that routine back when I was still kinda in shape, my quality of life now would be so much higher.
I went on a little 3k interval run around the town centre, last interval (RPE of 8) was tough but I felt good and I don’t think I have really lost any condition in my two weeks away from running. I enjoyed myself out in the fresh air #running#peloton#fitness#FitnessJourney

Well I jogged/walked a mile this morning for the first time in a long time. It took me 18:12 to finish. Not great at all. I'm going to time myself once a week and hope for improvements.
Just ran a treadmill 5km in 41’ 50” - 30 seconds off my PB, darn it! First time I have successfully run 5km in a couple of months. It was a progression run, so I pushed the pace a little each km (I did start very slowly!), then cooled down by walking 300m before doing a #peloton post-run stretch. Rest day tomorrow, then a 4km easy run on Sunday. It will be nice to run somewhere new (the Quarry park in Shrewsbury) #running#fitness#FitnessJourney#5k
So I slacked for a bit but then Tom discovered me and said, “I though you were supposed to be exercising??” so I hopped on the bike and did a 30 minute #peloton tabata ride. I find with a lot of these rides that I have to add much more resistance than suggested to make it challenging enough to get my heart rate up and burn calories. Now I have to walk into town to buy bread before it sells out, or I’ll kick myself when it’s time for soup at lunch #fitness#FitnessJourney
