Harvested some of our Chinese chives & bean sprouts. Fried them up with lots of garlic & sprinkles of salt n pepper. It is simple, tasty & healthy. Cooks up in less than 5 minutes.

This was my first year growing #Okinawa#Japanese#purple#SweetPotatoes. We love the taste & they grew well in our sack planters. I grow almost all tubers out of containers because I find it's easier to control & harvest than planting in ground. I will grow a lot more of them, next year. I grew only a few this year to experiment. Grows well in #Zone8 in #Saanich.
18 #October and #RunnerBeans are still ripening on the plant. I am still harvesting #tomatoes, the chard is looking nice and I have a handful of small courgettes on the plants. Herbs and parsley are still going. Hardy broad beans are in the ground for an early harvest next year.

This is a quick, easy and delicious no cook 'jam' that uses whole food ingredients. I make mine mostly from the blackberries that grow in great profusion behind our barn, sown by the birds many years ago but tended carefully by me now.
