We assume her dementia is a behavioural variant frontotemporal #dementia that causes emotional problems and bad behavior. I was exhausted when I got #home#yesterday. I even got off the train in Pasila, too early. 🙈 I had a migraine yesterday and #today. But guess what? I had a #date today and we had so much fun. He drove for 2,5 hours to take me out for a #dinner and now he's driving back home. 🫶 😘

I have a ton of mini art books, small prints and such game game limited editions. A little too small/too many to mount on the walls, doesn't look like anything if I store them book-wise.
It's 8.30pm and I'm finally at #home. I bought my #father wall calendars so that he has pictures to look at, and my #sister bought a carpet and other interior items. One of the underestimated costs of moving countries - by me, anyway - is the costs of refurnishing a home.
Shipping to Spain would have been wildly expensive and more expensive than the value of things I owned. Plus much of what I had in my apartment was years old and inexpensive or secondhand.
Nevertheless, replacing adds up. And my new apartment in Barcelona is less fully furnished than the one I had in Valencia. Not all the things are immediate needs, but to make it a home … #moving#home

I got some really good tight-sealing trash cans that control the smell very well, except they're SO well sealed that the inside is like...nuclear. Tried spraying one down on the inside with some Method cleaner and didn't seem to matter much. Airing it out with the windows open, also limited effect.
