also love #comics especially #webcomics and #satire . Not really into superhero type comics, unless they're the newer ones like the "New 52". I prefer self-contained series with a little bit of weirdness to them like Saga, Rat Queens, and a bunch others I can't remember the names of right now. Often I'll go to the library and check out a fat stack of whatever comics they have, mostly standalones though since they rarely have multiple comic books in a series available in sequential order.

My household is a mixed bag of neurodivergent, queer, creative folks who think the wondrous variety of humanity is awesome and people should be left alone to live their lives (except billionaires and nazis). We do #ttrpgs, #boardgames, #Minecraft, and long convoluted conversations on many topics. My favourite dinosaur is ceolophysis.

News is fairly thin today, so have a picture of a bracelet (the thing I do besides news). A four strand memory wire bracelet, alternating beige stones with different types of agates running pale to red, spaced with blue and gold seed beads.
On my tumblr page, I have three other pictures, an amethyst bracelet and set of amethyst earrings, and a turquoise blue colored one.
As my escape from our current dystopia, I made some more bracelets (for those new to my feed, this is one of the ways I stay mentally balanced through all the news). Here's a pic of my latest.

The saddest part isn't the art economy for me (granted I have no skin in the game), it's the tragedy of an artist stopping being creative because their work doesn't sell or they convince themselves it isn't worth it.
Of course, that's me speaking about myself as I revisit and relish in my own creativity and creative brain, and explore it after neglecting it for so long.
@scarletfi@etherdiver Speaking for myself, I'd be thrilled if people wanted to buy my originals--but there are some originals that I will never part with. I'd also be thrilled if people wanted to buy prints. It's just lovely to know that my art is in people's homes and they enjoy it. 😊
