I am looking for both Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist recommendations in the East Bay, or specifically #Oakland - I have some kind of impingement of my C6-C7 nerves (MRI acquired, specialist appointment upcoming). Ridwell (https://www.ridwell.com) is on the side of some boxes in my neighborhood porches. It's apparently a service which accepts hard-to-recycle items like plastic films.
But why do we have this for-profit business instead of pushing #oakland to improve it's existing recycling program? Or legislate a reduction in single-use plastics? #SFBA
HELP! Our dear mascot, Lucy the bear, was stolen last week in #Oakland. (Actually she was in the back of a car that was stolen, but we mostly care about recovering Lucy herself). She has been with the team for decades and we would be very grateful for any information leading to her successful return. Pictures attached.
La Parilla Loca near Elmhurst Park in east Oakland reminds me of some of the best LA taco trucks. They use a charcoal grill, they have a large menu, they have vampiro and mulita, they make their own tortilla, they have a large range of good and not too sweet agua fresca, it’s in a parking lot, there’s a train rumbling overhead..
Vampiro is exceptional. Burritos are the size of a very muscly person’s forearm. Great birria

A librarian friends personal laptop is a netbook that’s experiencing some intermittent hardware issues around the WiFi, and I no longer am confident / enthused in my own diagnostics and repair skills; and spoons are sparse.
