"Playful Posies" A cluster of playful posies … full blown roses and buds (or are they peonies?) … seemingly dance against the darkening night sky. More happens in the gardens, when no humans lurk, than can be conjured in our imaginations! It's party time for the playful posies!!

An old wooden fence cuts across a field of wildflowers on top of Blue Knob Mountain, a part of the Laurel Highlands of the Appalachians, just as the sun begins to set on a glorious spring evening.
"Meet Me At Our Bench" An old favorite from 2011. We'd gone into DC after a snow storm from the night before, but there wasn't much left of the white stuff. Still, we got there early enough to where I could get lots of shots without bobbing and weaving around the other tourists.
Many thanks to my 3/8/2024 client from North East, MD for their purchase of a 16" x 10.5" metal print of "Honor Bound In Blue." One of my personal favorites … I hope it brings much joy for many years to come.

The Sweet Simple Things …My newest photo, taken on top of #BlueKnobMountain, #Claysburg, #Pa early last fall. As Laura Ingalls Wilder said, it is the sweet, simple things of life that are the real ones, after all.
