Collection of Doctor Who pixels I did from around 2010 to 2014. Mostly during Eleventh Doctor era as evident by multiple 11th Doc sprites. The colours were restricted to that of one of the many 'NES palettes' for practice in colour usage.

If you recognise them all then you're kinda cool. :)

There were also many unfinished ones not here such as River, Brig, Angels, Ace etc.

Seen folk recreate these with perler beads, cross stitch, in minecraft etc. Which is nice. :)

Was playing The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles on NES for first time and noticed it felt kinda familiar. Then realised what it reminded me of and did some sprite comparisons.

Top. Shatterhand. Developed by Natsume. Published by Jaleco in US, December 1991.

Bottom: The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Developed by Chris Gray Enterprises. Published by Jaleco in US, January 1993.

Methinks Jaleco had CGE use Shatterhand as the basis for Young Indy.

John de Lancie's Q has always been one of my fave #StarTrek characters right from his first appearance in TNG's first episode up to the final episode of Picard.

Fun bit of trivia. With his recent role as Granamyr in #MastersoftheUniverseRevolution and previously as Discord in #MyLittlePonyFriendshipisMagic he's now played dragon-like creatures in both a Mattel and a Hasbro toy franchise. :P

Normally Suicide Squad wouldn't interest me after a couple of mediocre movies and ... that game... but this comic caught my attention because it's written by Nicole Maines, who played trans superhero Dreamer on CW's Supergirl, and these days she writer Dreamer's stories in the main DC comics universe.

And I enjoyed issue 1. Solid. :)

This third party Legends-size (meaning it's very small) Bayverse Optimus Prime looks impressive especially for it's size. Far more accurate than the much larger Studio Series figures. I'd like to see how it transforms too. And obviously waiting to see how it all looks in it's final colours too (hope they paint all the flames). Very interested in this figure. And an upscaled Studio Series voyager size one if they'd like to do that too, please? :)

I don't enjoy Celeste much. I respect the game but I find it too fiddly and frustrating to be fun and it messes with my anxiety issues. But I still gave this impressive rom hack of Super Mario Bros a go. It's called 'Celeste Mario's Zap & Dash!' and it's really well done to the point it feels far more like a new game than a hack of the old 1985 Mario game. New graphics, music, moves. It's very much like Celeste and so I find this also frustrating but I have to admire the work gone into it. :)

Amazing resource for 20th Century British comic books and magazines. So everything from Dan Dare and 2000AD to Doctor Who Weekly to Marvel UK's Transformers to British printings of US Spider-Man/Batman stories etc to a whole bunch of forgotten/obscure stuff too, to download and read and enjoy. A lot of childhood faves.

Also has links to the site owner's other pages that include such things as Newspaper strips and children's books too.

Finally a #Bayverse figure in Studio Series again. 😮 And still might be the only one for a while so better make the most of it even though it's a core class figure (the smallest class in SS). But hey it's a fun one. Lil weirdo Mohawk. Decent articulation for size including jaw and ankle tilts. Transforms well. Fun to pose. Bike mode is a lil too thick to put a rider on though but that's ok. I like him. 🙂
