This explains how news junkies who consume lots of legal opinions like this: "this is a strong case!" or "the special counsel is screwing up!" end up less informed and more unhinged from facts and reality.

Found a queen ant on Park Ave. Looks like Prenolepis imparis, or the american winter ant. You can spot queens by their distinctive waddle. She was hustling along the side walk as if on her way to the Chanel store. Now she’s in one of my luxury ant condos— but don’t tell her I’ve moved her out to the Bronx.

The projects that get bank loans, and are therefore built, are the one’s that pencil out= high profit. The free market will not solve housing issues, no matter how easy govmnt makes it for developers.

@mekkaokereke @cohomologyisFUN @lienrag There is already a huge backlog of approved permits that can’t get funding to build. How is adding to the backlog going to help? What gets the funding and expediated jump the queue permits are luxury condos for rich people. More of that doesn’t bring housing prices down. Prices are insanely high because there are so many people making insanely high salaries.

    I talk to people from the UK pretty regularly, I watch a lot of BBC programming, I read a lot of books by authors from the UK, but sometimes they will suddenly use a word I've never heard in my life, and I'm beginning to think they are pranking us, and every other person from the UK is in on the joke, and just validates whatever the other person says!

    We saw these things at Chrissy Beach recently that looked to me like solid spiderwebs from the sea.
