10,000 people have been killed by air strikes in , but they don't count, because they're Palestinian. Journalists are picked off one by one, and news stations are asked to tone down their coverage. While nothing did on 7 October can be condoned, their actions did not take place in a vacuum. Palestinians have been killed, displaced, humiliated, detained unlawfully, for decades; media only sits up and pays attention when an Israeli dies.

Writing as a Jewish person, I'm ashamed that Israel is committing genocide in . dropped more bombs in one week than the US did on Afghanistan in one year. You don't fight with terrorism. Calling them "human shields" does not justify bombing. If anything it makes it worse because you knew they were there and you made a conscious decision to kill them. iPhone users: struggling to make the keyboard add apostrophes automatically in, for example, I’ll and we’re, rather than autocorrecting to illuminate or werewolf? Just type the final letter twice, so illl becomes I’ll and weree becomes we’re.

Email from Google telling me about price increases. They tell me I have to know what plan I have, then click the link to find out the new price. Except I don't know what plan I have, and the link takes me to US prices.

Discussion at the city hall (Bürgeramt) in Berlin yesterday: a case worker saw for the first time a passport with X gender instead of M or W. She was confused. Is the customer Herr or Frau? Customer said just to use their first name – but this just blew her mind! "Das geht nicht!" To her, this would be massively disrespectful, but she couldn't conceive that calling them Herr or Frau would be more so!

European governments have “systematically” shrunk their and starved them of funding while pouring money into expanding network. For every €1 governments spent building railways, they spent €1.6 building roads.

Small investments into bike lanes and railways were heavily scrutinised, while investments in roads were taken for granted.

But, in that case, its mighty strange that its people who display pride flags or who "look gay" or who "don't pass" or who are allies that are the ones who get attacked and sometimes even killed.

Its not the gay, bi, trans, non-binary and queer people doing that.

Wow... A German court refuses extradition to the UK, after asking about "chronic overcrowding, staff shortages, violence among inmates", only receiving a vague, last-minute email frok a police station in Manchester about "creating an extra 20,000 prison places", and then being ignored.
