Rise of the Third Power, a turn-based #JRPG is on sale in the #Nintendo eshop for like $12USD
With reviews like, "For those with religious concerns, there is a BI character, who is in your group." and "I don't like propaganda in my games; It's disgusting behavior. Keep your politics away from me."
I wish we got way more videos like this.
Instead we are drowning in videos that go “here’s why I hate the games that you enjoy and you should stop liking them!”, or something that has the same vibe.
I still need to find a copy of Blue Reflection myself, but it’s certainly not cheap these days. 😔
@COMPU73E
Haha. 😅
I know how that feels as I’ve been playing Sekiro this past week. 👀
Very surprised about Trails though.
I would think you’d really like it.
Then again, we all have our own reasons for not clicking with certain games, films or well anything really.
I just like getting positive impressions from people on things that a lot of people don’t like, since I do tend to have weird taste in things at time.
I just hope when I get to Trails that I love it though.
@OutofPrintArchive the Trails games died for me with Cold Steel III and IV. I wasn't really a fan of the switch to full 3D with the first CS game, and I really didn't like the direction they took the series in with the writing and characters, so much so that I don't have that much interest in the new games (I skipped Reverie and might pick up Daybreak, dunno)
I totally get why people like them, but for me Sky and Crossbell were too hard to follow and I wish they'd kept the isometric graphics
“Some of the titles that are considered classics are rather difficult to obtain and play in the modern gaming landscape, so seeing those titles getting high-quality remakes and having the experience passed down to a newer generation of players is something that should be welcomed by both creators and players,” Star Ocean: The Second Story R producer Kei Komaki says. 🙏
Narrative Analysis of Square’s iconic game Final Fantasy for the Nintendo Entertainment system, itself largely a reaction to and attempt to outdo Dragon Quest. It added many console rpg genre staples, like the 3/4 top down perspective, elemental affinities, and seeing your party as they fought turn-based battles.

@buerviper Ha! Too impatient myself to wait. Once my research & decision was made to play Chained Echoes and Frogsong, I wanted them on my Switch Lite NOW! Lol
