@LucaManciniDrummer No worries, I didn't explain it too well! Yes, that's a good summary of what I'm trying to do. For instance, I share some vids with a small group of people on my site (both music vids and longer "episodes" of things) and it would be good if I could do some of that outside of YouTube infrastructure.
