@boilingsteam Things are moving faster than expected, there is quite a lot of people making videos of games already running on Nouveau+NVK

Performance is still spotty, it is early days after all, but oh boy it promises to get good faster than expected.

@PalePimp now the question is do you need the nvidia driver to use CuDa?

@boilingsteam Good question, if one could use Nouveau+Mesa and the CuDa libraries without the rest of the Nvidia user space it would be fantastic, best of both worlds.

In principle I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, unless CuDa depends on other obscure userspace proprietary Nvidia stuff.

Exciting times ahead.

@PalePimp i suspect cuda does depend on the drivers in some way... we will see
